Life memberships for Kirkie quartet
Congratulations to this quartet of Kirkie stalwarts on receiving their Scottish Brass Band Association life membership medals for lengthy service to banding.
Baritone player Jim Corrigan, cornetists Les Wood and John Needham and baritone player Murdo Campbell (pictured, left to right) have 216 years of brass banding between them.
SBBA honorary vice president Peter Fraser (and band president) and secretary Tom Allan called in at The Kirkintilloch Band to make the presentations.
