Foodbank donations after month-long appeal

Several bands have reported their successes in this year’s Scottish foodbank collections.

Following February’s month-long appeal, Tullis Russell Mills (below) dropped off their collection to the Glenrothes Foodbank which comprised an incredible 44 kilogrammes of food, enough to support two families for a whole week.

The Coalburn Brass Band Family, which initiated the appeal last year with MD Gareth Bowman, collected food for the Clydesdale Foodbank (cover photo).

Highland Brass dropped off five bags of food and toiletries to their local foodbank in Inverness and Kirkton Brass Bathgate members (below) also participated in the appeal.

And in Perth and Kinross, Brass Central Strathearn will be distributing its collection (below) to foodbanks in Crieff, Auchterarder and Perth.

In East Lothian, members of Dalkeith & Monktonhall Band (below) have collected for the foodbank in Prestonpans.

Well done, everyone, on your community spirit!
