New date for Northern Counties solos
BRASS players in the north of Scotland have been advised that the date for the Northern Counties solo and ensemble competition has changed.
The contest, which had been due to take place on Sunday, November 15, has been rescheduled following the discovery of a clash with a National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) event. It will now take place on Sunday, January 24, 2016, following an announcement by the Northern Counties Brass Band Association.
Further details will be made available in the run up to Christmas, with entries encouraged from players in both youth and open categories.
