Sunday 11 September

The final day of the event remains a favourite with many people.  Newtongrange SIlver Band will once again star in both the Praise in Brass and Grand Finale concerts, and music from a variety of local folk and brass bands will be performed throughout the day - including Jazz Main, Lothian & Borders Police Pipe Band, Loanhead Youth Brass, the Jimmy Blair Accordion Orchestra and the West Telferton Ceilidh Band, who will provide entertainment in the bar.

A new feature this year is free entry to the Museum exhibits with your Brass in the Park ticket - this is a fantastic opportunity to visit a 5* tourist attraction for free!  In addition, a shuttle bus will be provided from Newtongrange to tNewbattle High School on Friday night, and to the Museum throughout the day on Sunday.

Tickets and further information are available from The National Mining Museum (Scotland), Jackie Fraser (jackiedenholm@aol.com or 0131 654 2658), or at the gate.   Tickets are priced as follows:

Friday Night - Adults £6, Friends of the Band/Conc. £5, Under 16 £1

Saturday/Sunday - Adults £8, Friends of the Band/Conc. £7, Under 16 £1

Weekend Ticket - Adults £14, Freinds of the Band/Conc. £12, Under 16 £1
