Proposal for UK Brass Band Alliance
The Working Group for a new UK-wide banding body (in which SBBA has played a leading role) has prepared a proposal for a UK Brass Band Alliance. The proposal is being sent out to banding organisations and bands for consultation. It will appear on the websites of the national bodies and will hopefully get wide coverage in the band press and media.
Everyone in banding will be invited to comment on the proposal, formally, or via the email address consultation@UKBBA.org. At a final meeting on 2nd July, probably in Birmingham, open to all who wish to attend, there will be a presentation and discussions of the proposals, amended as appropriate taking into account the feedback received.
