Thirteen bands are in their final stages of rehearsals this week for the Borders Entertainment Contest which will take place in Galashiels Academy on Saturday (7 November).
The draw for order of play has already been made and will be kept under wraps until the morning of the contest when it will be officially announced to the public.
Adjudicators for the day will be Brett Baker and Chris Shanks who will decide on which bands are awarded these prizes:

· Most Entertaining Band Trophy and cash
· 1st in Section 2 Trophy and cash
· 1st in Section 3 Trophy and cash
· 1st in Section 4 Trophy and cash
· Best Soloist
· Best Instrumentalist
· Best Trombone Section
· Best Bass Section
· Best Percussion Section
· Youngest Player
· Deportment
