*UPDATE: Second Section Results
The Scottish Brass Band Association would like to communicate a sincere apology and clarification for the results of todays Second Section contest.
The band which were awarded 3rd Place today was Clackmannan District, who were drawn number 6.
When the results were announced today however it was announced that the third place band was "draw number three, Clackmannan District".
This was incorrect as Campbeltown Brass were in fact draw number three. Campbeltown was placed 5th in todays contest.
As such, the representative from Campbeltown Brass attended to collect their award prior to a clarification announcement being made and the award being presented correctly to Clackmannan District. SBBA apologise sincerely to all for this error and wish to congratulate all of todays participating bands for their performances today.
