Limited spaces still available for NYBBS Easter course

This year’s Easter residential course for members of the Senior and Reserve bands of the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) will take place on Tuesday 9 to Friday 12 April at Strathallan School in Perthshire.

Musical director Ian Porthouse will be supported by Alan Fernie and John Boax, Children’s and Reserve band conductors, and Dr Brett Baker who will be leading additional workshops during the course.

The event will culminate in a concert in the school's theatre at 2.30pm on the Friday.

The summer course for the Senior and Reserve band members will be from Sunday 4 to Sunday 11 August. The Children’s course will start a day later on Monday 5 August. The week will conclude with a special commemoration of the life and legacy of former conductor emeritus Richard Evans, entitled ‘Strath in the Park’.
