Lottery boost for Forfar Instrumental concert

Forfar Instrumental Band’s annual concert and awards ceremony on Saturday (21 October) will be a time for extra celebration as it has just been granted £9000 by the National Lottery Community Fund.

The concert, which starts at 7pm at the East and Old Parish Church in Forfar, will also feature the debut appearance of the Forfar Future Brass.

The Lottery award will be of huge benefit to the band as it will ensure it can continue its activities as a community brass band and will help to fund its young members’ attendance at the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) summer school.
