Northern Counties contest is cancelled for this year

It is with regret that Northern Counties has had to announce the cancellation of its Open Contest which was due to be held on Sunday 29 May.

The number of withdrawals from the entertainment contest did not leave the organisers with any other option, explained Northern Counties president Jim Wishart.

“We hope that we will see more bands willing to take part next year,” he added. “We appreciate it is still a difficult time for some bands and we wish everyone good luck with their engagements in the coming year.”
