Whitburn youngsters feature their music on Facebook

Whitburn’s development bands have put together a mini-concert on Facebook which showcases the composing and music arranging talents of Alan Fernie.

In the eight-and-a-half minute video, members of the Wee Band, Youth Band and Heartlands Band perform the march Death or Glory, Amarillo, The Rose, Super Trooper and Prismatic Light.

The young players have worked hard to record some music during the Coronavirus pandemic. It’s been a real struggle for them not being able to meet and rehearse together, but the end product is fabulous! For some of the Wee Band, this is their very first performance with other members.
