British Open test piece announced

The test piece for the British Open in September has been announced as The World Rejoicing by Edward Gregson.

Jointly commissioned by the British Open Brass Band Championship and the National Brass Band Championships of Belgium, The Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland, it will be used as the test piece for each competition.

Morthanveld Publishing Ltd has been appointed as sole distributor of the performing material. Study and conductor’s scores will be available to purchase online from www.morthanveld.com/product/edward-gregson-the-world-rejoicing/ from 25 April.

Study scores are also available from www.worldofbrass.com from that date and also from World of Brass trade stands.

Performing materials (individual parts or full sets of scores and parts) will be available to purchase exclusively from morthanveld.com from 1 June.
