Return of the West Of Scotland Band Contest 31st August

The West of Scotland Band Association is delighted at the return of its Open Band Contest on Saturday 31st August competing for the iconic William Beardmore Shield.
Eleven bands have entered the entertainment contest with each band providing a piece of music linked to Robert Burns, celebrating 260 years since his birth
Generous support has been provided by South Ayrshire Council for the event in the Walker Halls in Troon. The Adjudicator will be John Doyle and the draw tales place at 10.00 am and commences at 11 am
SBBA Education Officer John Boax has organised Helen Minshall from Brass Works presenting one of her inspirational workshops between 12 and 3 pm
