Double award appreciated by Ronnie Tennant

Band Supplies Managing Director Ronnie Tennant has issued a notice of thanks to the Scottish brass band community after being presented with two significant awards at last month's Scottish Festival of Brass at Perth Concert Hall.

In recognition of his 50+ years of service to brass bands in Scotland, Ronnie was presented with his SBBA 50-year medal by Honorary president, Peter Fraser MBE.

 In addition, Ronnie also became the proud recipient of the President's Award, presented on the same day by SBBA's President Carrie Boax who lauded the fantastic contribution Ronnie and his family have made to brass bands in Scotland over a number of years.

 Expressing his appreciation for both accolades, Ronnie commented: "A big thank you to everyone who congratulated me on my recent awards from SBBA. These awards mean a great deal to me and my family and I am proud to be the recipient of them. Another big thank you to all the bands who attended the recent events in Perth - your commitment and enthusiasm  made it all worthwhile. We now look forward to meeting up at the forthcoming Area Contests next March."
