Newtongrange Silver Band is looking for a new conductor.
FOLLOWING Michael Marzella's decision to step down to focus on degree studies, Newtongrange Silver Band is looking to appoint a resident conductor.
Duties will include leading the band in various concerts during the year, liaising with the Musical Director and preparing the band for contests.
If an applicant of sufficient calibre is forthcoming, the position of Resident Musical Director may be offered.
The band rehearses in its own bandhall in Newtongrange on Monday and Thursday evenings.
