Adjudicators announced for National Finals
THE adjudicators have been announced for the 2015 National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
This year's line-up will see Stephen Roberts join Howard Snell and Rob Wiffin to judge championship section contenders on Spiriti, by Thomas Doss, at the Royal Albert Hall. Adjudicating in the first section contest are Paul Holland and Roger Webster on The Alchymist's Journal, written by Kenneth Hesketh. Second section bands will be listened to by Anne Crookston and David Hirst as they perform Stephen Roberts' The Snaring of the Sun. Judging performances of Oliver Waespi's The Graces of Love in the third section will be John Maines and Kevin Wadsworth. Meanwhile, John Doyle and Glyn Williams will adjudicate Visions, by Dan Price, in section four.
First to fourth section bands will meet at the Centaur, Cheltenham, on September 19 and 20. Championship section bands are due to gather at the Royal Albert Hall in London on October 10 at the event, which is organised by Kapitol Promotions.
