Great day at Scottish Brass Band Golf Championships
A TEAM from PLC Music has triumphed at the 2015 Scottish Brass Band Golf Championships.
The victory came after a great day's golf which took place on Sunday, June 28 at Murrayshall Golf Club in Perth to raise money for the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS). Second place went to players from retailers Just Music while the team from Irvine and Dreghorn Band came third.
At the close of this year's Scottish Brass Band Golf Championships, £150 was collected by those taking part for NYBBS and was received on their behalf by SBBA honorary vice president, Peter Fraser MBE, who presented the prizes.
Next year's event will take place at Murrayshall Golf Club in Perth for Sunday, June 26, 2016. It is hoped the event will become a fixed annual fundraiser for the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland.
