Irvine and Dreghorn looking for players
THE Irvine and Dreghorn Band (IDB) is on the lookout for players ahead of its trip to the National Finals in September.
A soprano cornet and trombone players would be particularly appreciated but instrumentalists across the band would be welcomed. It comes as IDB prepares to travel to the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain in Cheltenham in September and before the band moves up to the second section.
Rehearsals take place on Wednesday and Sunday evenings under the baton of conductor, Helen Douthwaite.
Anyone interested in getting involved or looking for more information, should contact Derek Leitch on 07855 062478 or get in touch via email.
