Musical Director, Paul Kiernan has recently advised that he will be leaving the band to take up new opportunities and concentrate on his playing.
Paul has been travelling to Johnstone over the last three years, preparing and leading the band to concert and contest successes which include competing at the Nationals in the first section and promotion to the Championship section.
We are looking forward to hard work and extra rehearsals ahead of Paul's last planned outing on St Magnus at the Scottish Championships next month.
We will be sad to see him go, but wish Paul all the best with his future plans.
