A recent survey amongst the bands taking part in this years Scottish Championships indicated that the majority of bands in sections 1-4 requested a pre-draw. At the meeting of SBBA Executive on 12th February it was agreed that bands will be given a pre-draw, as many bands travelling some distance were having problems with coach companies regarding drivers hours and a pre-draw would assist the days planning.
Bands will be informed of their draw and timings for the weekend will be sent out shortly
The result of the survey was as follows:

Overall 36 said yes to pre-draw - 13 said no - for Open Adjudication 19 said Yes and 30 said No
Championship Section 9/10 - 4 said yes to pre-draw 5 said no - Open Adj 1 said yes 8 said no
First Section 10 - 7 said yes to pre-draw 3 said no - Open Adj. 3 3 said yes 7 said no
Second Section 9/12 - 7 said yes to pre-draw 2 said no - Open Adj. 3 said yes 6 said no
Third Section 11 - 9 said yes to pre-draw 2 said no - Open Adj. 7 said yes 4 said no
