Tullis Celebrate Scottish Success
The band last night (sat 25th of March) held a highly successful celebration to mark its victory at the Scottish Championships, where it lifted the 3rd Section title under the baton of the world-famous Allan Morrison.
Members past and present gathered at Tullis local The Otter?s Head, owned by band cornet player Jim Forsyth. During a night of revelry, Chairman Allan Jones paid tribute to the work of band members and, in particular, the role played by Allan Morrison and the ?M-factor?.
The night was a great opportunity to re-establish links with former members and the community, and proved effective in raising funds for the coming year, which will include an appearance at the National Finals in Harrogate.
