Fife Brass Band Festival 2005

The first Fife Brass Band Festival contest took place at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline yesterday (23rd April). Glorious weather in the Kingdom saw 23 bands turn out in support of the contest which was previously known as the Carnegie Invitational. Kingdom brass took the Championship section honours with Easington Colliery retaining the 1st section title. Clydebank Burgh, Shotts St. Patricks Brass and Penicuick Silver took the honours in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th sections respectively.
