West Lothian bands to unite for historic concert

TWO West Lothian bands are to perform together as they prepare to celebrate historic milestones.
The Linlithgow Reed Band will celebrate its 60th anniversary by performing with the 1271 (Bathgate) Squadron ATC, as it marks its 75th anniversary.
Each band will perform their own set at the event in Linlithgow Academy Theatre on October 9 before joining forces during the second half. The massed band will be joined by pipers and drummers in a grand musical finale to evening.
Entry is free but it is advisable to book tickets from the Linlithgow Reed Band website to avoid disappointment on the evening.
Proceedings get underway at 7pm.
