Annan Town Band is looking for a conductor.

 

ANNAN Town Band is on the lookout for a new conductor as the banding season resumes.

The Dumfries and Galloway Band is looking for someone to fill the role of resident conductor or musical director, depending on experience. Bb bass and soprano cornet players would also be welcome.

Situated on the border with Scotland and England, the band is easily accessible from the M74 and M6, while it is one hour from the M8. 

Rehearsals take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30pm, with preparations underway for the band's annual concert on September 10. A busy schedule of engagements awaits, including performances at the Borders Entertainment Contest and the Band Supplies Scottish Challenge.
