RCS summer schools for young brass and percussion players

Each summer the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland welcomes students from across the world to its summer schools, both in person and online. The courses’ varied programmes have something for everyone and cover dance, drama, musical theatre, music, film and production.

Now the RCS has a couple of summer schools organised which may appeal to young brass and percussion players. The courses are aimed at both beginners who want to experience their first taste of the performance and production arts, and experienced students who want to further develop their skills.

The National Youth Wind Ensemble of Scotland is a place where all young wind, brass and percussion can join in a fantastic week of music, fun, and new friendships at this year’s school.

Whether you are an intermediate or senior player, you will build your skills, make great memories, and enjoy amazing music.

The school for Seniors (age 12-18, Grade 6+) takes place 12 - 18 July and for Intermediates (9-15, Grade 3 - 5) on 14 - 18 July.
