Dunfermline’s role in town's Platinum Jubilee celebrations
It’s been two long years since Dunfermline Town Band performed in public... but now the players are breaking cover to put on a concert in the town that has just been promoted to city status.
The band has worked through difficult times caused by the Covid pandemic but now members are looking forward to playing to a live audience once again.
The concert will take place in the grounds of the Erskin Church, Dunfermline, as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Friday (3 June) from 2 to 4pm.
