Advent Calendar of Carols: Dalkeith and Monktonhall Band – Sleigh Ride
Christmas is a time for giving and Dalkeith and Monktonhall Band would like to use this opportunity to raise funds not only for themselves but, more importantly, for the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital charity, The Sick Kids, who they normally help with their Christmas concert every year.

During 2020 members have been enjoying weekly quiz, bingo and charades nights on Zoom to stave off the disappointment of not being able to play together. Even their AGM was a virtual event.
Band secretary Heather Henderson remarked: “To all our banding friends, have a happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year. We’re all looking forward to getting together at the Scottish at some point and meeting in an appropriate establishment!”
