Advent Calendar of Carols: Young trombonist Nathan – Jingle Bells
Today we feature a young player who is just starting out on his musical journey.
Eleven years old Nathan plays Jingle Bells with a seasonal message to all his banding pals: “Have a merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year. Hope we will all be able to meet up soon.”
Nathan, who started learning the trombone just over a year ago, also plays the cello and attends Balmullo Primary School near St Andrews. He plays trombone with Cupar Beginners Brass, a band linked to the Tullis Russell Band.
Nathan’s brother Aaron, who is 13 years old, plays guitar and has just started to learn the natural trumpet through the St Andrews University outreach project.
