Conductor required for Newtongrange Learners
As a result of continuing interest in Newtongrange Silver Band's Youth Initiative, the organisation is looking to secure the services of a new conductor.
Treasurer of the band's Youth Initiative Graham Halliday told SBBA: "Currently we have two groups, a Youth Band and a Learners Band. Both are continually growing with new members joining from the local schools. We meet on a Tuesday night between 6.00pm and 8.00pm and we would be delighted to hear from anyone who would be keen to get involved with the musical direction."
