Fife ladies set for fundraiser
FIFE-based brass banding females are preparing to unite for a night of music making to raise money for charity.
Inspired by the efforts of groups like Boobs and Brass and the National Old Boys Brass Band of Scotland (NOBBBS), Fife Ladies Brass is planning to raise the bar even higher by raising funds for Cancer Research and Maggie's. Anne Crookston will conduct at the event, which has been pencilled in for March 25, 2017.
A spokeswoman for Fife Ladies Brass said: "We've had marvellous support from players who are keen to perform and now we're looking for an audience.
"It's time to start spreading the news. We're looking for a sold out concert to raise as much money as we can for a cause that is close to the hearts of so many people.
"If you're keen to hear an old favourite, we're happy to consider requests in return for a donation!"
