Tullis set for T in the Field
MEMBERS of Tullis Russell Mills Band are preparing for a three day fundraising spectacular ahead of the band's trip to the 2016 National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
The Fife band is organising T in the Field which will see players camping near Milnathort, in Perth and Kinross, for a weekend of fundraising activities from Friday, June 10 until Sunday, June 12.
Members of the public are invited to the event between noon and 5.30pm on Saturday, where a range of activities will be taking place, including a concert featuring all three bands in the Tullis organisation.
A spokesman for Tullis Russell Mills Band said: We can’t wait for T in the Field. The event has taken lots of preparation from organising food to marquees, generators, toilets and running water.
“We have had our own merchandise produced for the weekend including fashionable T-shirts and baseball caps, all with the T in the Field logo, and we look forward to welcoming everyone along to our event.”
Anyone attending should head out of Milnathort on the B996 and look for the Huttonburn Road sign then follow the T in the field signs. Those looking to join the band for the full three days and leave details. A member of the organising team will respond immediately.
