NYBBS in fundraiser
THE National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) is to stage a fundraising event ahead of the organisation's 2016 courses.
A race night and disco will be held in the Mercure Hotel, Livingston, on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 7pm. Tickets for the event cost £20 and include a two course meal. Band of the year awards will also be presented at the fundraiser.
Twin and double rooms are available at the hotel at £55 for bed and breakfast.
Money and race sheets will be collected on the night. Anyone who cannot attend is encouraged to send horse names to Ann Murray, vice president, or send with a cheque to: Ann Murray, 37 Gardner Drive, Aberdeen, AB12 5SN. Payments can also be sent to the SBBA NYBBS account: number 00803433, sort code 80-08-85. Those taking part should remember to include their names as a reference when making the payments so they can be tracked.
Winners will be confirmed via email afterwards, with a prize also awarded for the best horse's name.
Anyone with any questions about the race night should call Ann Murray on 07799604125 or get in touch via email.
