Lochgelly set for summer concert
THE Lochgelly Band is putting the final touches to its programme ahead of its summer concert.
Taking place on Friday August 28, the evening is due to feature a wide-ranging programme including several solo items. Kenny Letham, Musical Director of Lochgelly Band, said: "I'm really excited to present a programme that shows off not only the band as a whole, but the wonderful solo musicians we have in the group.
"There will be something for everyone, with music of all styles - and maybe even a chance for a sing-along!"
The concert, in St Serf's Church, Lochgelly, is due to begin at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 and £3 for concessions. They are available by emailing Lochgelly Band. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased on the door ahead of the concert.
