NYBBS 2015: Reserves and children's solo results
YOUNGSTERS at the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) have dazzled and delighted at the children's and reserve band solo competitions.
The events, in the chapel at Queen Victoria School in Dunblane, took place on Wednesday, July 29. Adjudicating was NYBBS' Musical Director Emeritus, Richard Evans. who reflected: "It was quite something to see all the young players stand up and play a solo.
"I was looking for a performance; sometimes one or two little things happen but the key thing is the overall picture. It was tremendous to listen to the young players and watch them connect with the audience so I was delighted."
