FREE downloadable Music for the Commonwealth Games
Local composer, Chris Brown has written a couple of pieces linked to the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. They might be of interest to bands involved in concerts linked to the event, or indeed bands who might be playing as the Queen's Baton relay passes through their area. "Queen's Baton" is self-explanatory, and "2014" is a piece based on a musical rendering of the date!
More detail is available on the web page here https://www.croftmusic.co.uk/Glasgow%202014.html from where it is possible to listen to the pieces, view the scores, and download PDFs of full scores and parts. All the music is free of charge as Chris's musical contribution to the forthcoming Games.
