Entries required for Northern Counties band contest on 24th May

Open Contest - Saturday 24th May, 2014
Following the success of last year's contest, the Northern Counties Brass Band Association committee are pleased to announce that entries for this year's event are now open.
The contest will take place on Saturday 24th May in the Loch Leven Community Campus Theatre, Kinross, and we are delighted to be welcoming Anne Crookston as adjudicator for the day.
The event will be open adjudication, and bands should provide a 20-minute entertainment programme.
Entries are welcome from bands of all levels. We also encourage non-contesting bands to enter for adjudication only, in which case a reduced fee will apply.
This year, prize money is as follows:
1st: £250
2nd: £150
3rd: £75
There are additional awards for: Most Entertaining Performance, Best In Section, Best NCBBA Band performance, Best Non-NCBBA Band performance and Best Instrumentalist.
Entries and enquiries are appreciated as early as possible, but in any case before the closing date of Sunday 27th April.
