SBBA Surveys for Scope of Brass Bands in Scottish Further Education Establishments
Following last week's launch of their Scottish university student survey, The Scottish Brass Band Association (SBBA) has now entered Phase 2 of their research, with the release of a further survey specifically designed for students attending further education colleges. Both surveys will assist the Association's research on the scope of players in all of Scotland's further education establishments. As part of its internationally recognised Youth Development Programme, SBBA is now encouraging students of further education colleges to complete the short online survey which will help pinpoint potential development areas in the country's further education arenas.
Both online surveys, one for each type of further education establishment, are available for completion as follows: For university students: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5SP89CW, and for further education college students https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LLDRF8J, each taking only a couple of minutes to complete. To produce an accurate collection of data, SBBA encourages all brass and percussion playing students based at Scottish further education establishments to complete the simple questions in the relevant surveys as soon as possible. The survey links will also be available on SBBA's website (www.sbba.org.uk) and posted on their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TheSBBA) and Twitter site (@TheSBBA) as well as the social media networks for The National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (F/B: www.facebook/NYBBScotland and Twitter: @NYBBS).
The Association looks forward to receiving the survey responses and being able to assess the future brass band potential for Scotland's further education students.
