NYBBS Audition Dates Now Set

The National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) are delighted to announce that in line with their recently announced development plans for the organisation, audition dates and venues across Scotland have now been confirmed. Auditions are by application and are open to all brass and percussion players aged 16 - 22 (or in the case of exceptionally talented young players, from age 13 upwards) wishing to join the premier level band of the organisation - The National Youth Brass Band of Scotland.
Current members of The National Youth Brass Band of Scotland will not be required to take a joining audition and similarly, membership of both The National Children's Brass Band of Scotland and The National Youth Reserve Brass Band of Scotland will continue to be open enrolment to everyone meeting the membership criteria and do not require a joining audition.
Enabling easier access for auditioning players, the audition sessions will take place in strategically located band halls and venues to cover the Borders, Midlothian, Aberdeen, Angus, Glasgow, West Lothian, Dumfries, Ayrshire and Fife, between 16th March and 7th April. NYBBS and its parent body, The Scottish Brass Band Association, would like to offer their sincere thanks and gratitude to all the bands that have so generously offered their facilities for these audition rounds.
