Dreams Come True Inverclyde - COME FOLLOW THE BAND!
Brian Keeachie tells us that on October 13th he is setting off on a 12 day Trek of the Great Wall of China in aid of "Dreams Come True Inverclyde". This is a charity for children in palliative care with an incurable disease.
Fundraising so far has included climbing Ben Nevis! My aim is to raise in excess of £3,000.
People can donate on my website

His next fundraiser is a dream mile walk.
Brass band musicians wanted! COME FOLLOW THE BAND!
Brass band musicians are being sought to join in the fun at the Dream Mile event for Dreams Come True Inverclyde on Sunday 9th September at 12 noon to play as part of the Dream Mile walk.
The ‘Brassed Off !' band are looking for volunteers to join in and swell their ranks as they play while walking the mile for charity. The organisers are keen to have as many brass band musicians as possible and those interested should contact me, one of the Dreams Come True Inverclyde trekkers undertaking the Great wall of China trek in October on 07773 407 094.
Players can register in advance at any Inverclyde Leisure facility by making a minimum donation of £5 for which they will receive a Dreams Come True wristband to wear on the day and a certificate at the end of the mile.
We would like as many brass players / musicians as we can playing as part of the walk and joining in the fun'.
