Would you like to adjudicate at a contest?
The Fife Charities Band Association are holding their Annual Contest in the Adam Smith Centre, Kirkcaldy, Fife on Saturday, 6th October 2012.
The contest normally has two adjudicators, one main adjudicator to judge the March, Hymn Tune and Test Piece contest and a second adjudicator to judge the solo and sectional awards.
This year the FCBA would again like to give one aspiring young adjudicator the opportunity to carry out this role as second adjudicator. You will be responsible for awarding all the solo and sectional prizes (Best Basses, perc etc), and providing each band with a written critique for all three pieces.
To be considered for this please forward your full musical CV to The Chairman of the Fife Charities Band Association at chairman@fcba.org.uk;
The successful person will be notified by the end of August.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into adjudicating as bands from all 5 sections will be on show at the contest and guidance will be given by the contest organisers and the main adjudicator.
