Sad Passing of BERT LAW
It is with great sadness that Callander Brass pass on notice of the passing of Bert Law, faithful bandsman and good friend. Many in the Scottish Brass Band family will have fond memories of Bert from his time with Alva and Alloa bands in the past, as well as his service to SBBA itself. He will be sadly missed.
Bert's funeral takes place in Alva Parish Church on Friday 28th October at 11am. Callander Brass will be honoured to play at Bert's request during the service and while it is clear that space will be very limited, anyone who would like to offer assistance on the day should contact Conductor, Ian Milligan on 01877 330396
