Peebles New Website
PEEBLES BURGH SILVER BAND - NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHED - www.peeblessilverband.com
Peebles Burgh Silver Band have launched their new website. The new site has been completely redesigned into a clean user friendly format
Kevin Smith (Tenor Horn Player) has taken on the job of web master and has done a great job re-designing the website so please visit it and inspect his efforts. If you have any suggestions for other improvements or extra sections then enter your comments in the guest book.
The website features some of the same sections that were on the previous site such as NEWS, GUESTBOOK, JUNIOR BAND etc but there are now some new sections such as BOOKINGS where anyone can book the band for their function, CONTEST RESULTS which includes every result from every contest the band took part in from 1892 to the present day.
Another feature that has been added to the site are the EasyFundraising links situated on the home page. Clicking these will allow you to help the Band raise money whenever you shop on line. It's very simple - just visit www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/pbsb/ to register and shop with over 2000 well known retailers like Amazon, Argos, M&S, eBay and many more. Whenever you buy something, the retailer makes a donation to the Band. They've helped other causes raise over £2,000,000 so it really does work. We would be really grateful if you could use easyfundraising too. It won't cost you a penny extra to shop through easyfundraising and you can even save money with special offers and voucher codes and help the Band in the process.
The site is always being updated so please visit regularly.
