Area Associations Forum UPDATE

I can now confirm below the timetable for the SBBA Area Association Forum, which will be held at Howden Park Centre on Saturday 22 May at 11.00am.
The main purpose of this event is for the five area associations in Scotland to meet and discuss their roles and the issues facing them today, with a view to sharing whatever skills and knowledge each has for everyone's long-term benefit. As such, we invite each association to make a presentation lasting approximately 15 minutes, outlining the organisation's structure, past events, future plans, any problems encountered and any advice for other associations. Jennifer Fox - SBBA Child Protection Officer, George Burt - SBBA President and Alan Edmond - SBBA Development Officer will all give presentations outlining services that SBBA can offer to the area associations, and the event will close with an open forum in which all delegates will have an opportunity to air their views or ask any relevant questions.
SBBA would like each area association to send a minimum of two delegates, for which all travel expenses will be covered at 20p per mile. I would be obliged if you could reply to this address by return, but by no later than Monday 10 May, indicating the name of your association's speaker and any equipment requirements you may have. However, we will welcome as many delegates as you wish to send and would be obliged if you could indicate the number attending by Monday 17 May in order to assist us with the catering requirements.
