Memorial Concert for Jimmy Gilmour
Creetown Silver Band is having a concert in Gatehouse Parish Church on Sunday 1st February at 3.00pm. This is a memorial concert for Jimmy Gilmour who died recently.
Jimmy had been a member of the band for over 40 years. The guests of the band will be the Gatehouse Singers, of which Jimmy was also a member. As Jimmy was a popular character in Gatehouse a large attendance is expected, with proceeds going to Jimmy's favourite charities. The programme will contain some of the music which was played at Jimmy's first concert with the local Gatehouse band in 1947.
Any past members of Creetown band who would like to join in this tribute should contact Stuart McNab at 0167140254
