St. Ronan's Silver Band - Christmas Concert
St. Ronan's Silver Band is rounding 2005 off with its annual Christmas Concert and Coffee Evening to be held on Saturday 17 December in the Memorial Hall, Innerleithen at 7.30pm. A firm favourite with local audiences for the last twelve years, the concert promises a wide range of music, in a programme devised by Conductor David McLeod.
The main band will, as usual, be joined by the St. Ronan's Future Band. Led by David Robb, the Future Band is made up of youngsters who are learning to play brass and percussion instruments within the St. Ronan's organisation. The group, which includes a mix of ages from 10 tosixteen, has prepared an excellent programme of music for the concert.
