Scots and North of England bands line up for Clans vs Counties Contest

Ten bands will take part in the inaugural Clans vs Counties Contest on Saturday 6 June at the Queen’s Hall Arts Centre, located in the heart of historic market town of Hexham, at which the adjudicator will be John Doyle, one of the UK’s leading performers.

Inspired by the cross-border brass competitions of the early 1900s, the new contest will see the Scottish and North of England bands showcase their own-choice entertainment programmes.

Who from this list of bands will be crowned the first-ever champions? Which area will gain the ultimate bragging rights - Scotland or the North of England?
