Renfrew Burgh receives Band of the Year Award

The 2025 Third Section Band of the Year Award was presented to Renfrew Burgh Band by Renfrewshire Provost Lorraine Cameron, the band’s honorary president, and SBBA secretary Tom Allan.

The original presentation took place at the SBBA annual general meeting but the band was unable to receive it in person as everyone was away rehearsing for the Scottish Championships.

“The award was a lovely way to round off a successful contesting year,” said musical director Mark Good who is pictured (cover photo, left) with Tom Allan, Valerie Shaw of Renfrew Burgh Band and Provost Lorraine Cameron.
