Increase in entries for this year’s Scottish Championships
Wednesday 25 February 2026Fifty-nine bands will be taking to the stage of Perth Concert Hall over the weekend of 7/8 March to participate in the 2026 Scottish Brass Band Championships.
This regional qualifying contest for the finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain will feature seven more competing bands than last year.
On the Saturday, the Third, Second and First sections will be held in that order while on the next day, the Fourth section bands will take to the stage ahead of five entries in the non-contesting Section 4b and then the Championship section.
Admission to this veritable feast of brass music is £16.50 / £12.50, payable on the day in the foyer of the Perth Concert Hall or from the theatre online ticket office.
The top two bands in each section will receive an invitation to compete for the title of 2026 National Champions later in the year.
