British Army invitation to Operation Cyber Beat
Friday 30 January 2026British Army Music is inviting young and student brass musicians to Operation Cyber Beat, a unique and free outreach event combining live performance, interactive workshops and behind-the-scenes insights into a career in Army Music.
Operation Cyber Beat is designed to educate, inspire and engage young musicians, offering them a chance to experience music in new and exciting ways. This event will deepen students’ understanding of melody, harmony, pitch and rhythm, while encouraging creativity, teamwork and a fresh appreciation of music’s role in society.
Taking place on Friday 13 March in the New Auditorium, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Operation Cyber Beat will start at 11am, although attendees are encouraged to arrive from 10am to learn more about the role of music in the British Army.
The main show is approximately 50 minutes in duration but everyone is welcome to stay a little later to take part in other activities.
