Adjudicators announced for 2026 Scottish Championships

Adjudicators for the 2026 Scottish Championships have been announced by the Scottish Brass Band Association.

Chris King, John Doyle, Alan Duguid and Phillip Littlemore will judge the various contest sections between them while Joshua Parkhill will provide adjudication for the non-competing bands in Section 4b.

Adjudicators will be as follows (in order of play) in Perth Concert Hall:

Saturday 7 March 2025 (commencing at 9.30am)

Section 3 [Test piece Three Haworth Impressions (Gordon Langford)]

Section 2 [Test piece 20,000 Leagues under the Sea (Philip Harper)]

Alan Duguid and Phillip Littlemore

Section 1 [Test piece Variations on 'Was Lebet' (Andrew Wainwright)]

Sunday 8 March 2025 (commencing at 9.30am)

Section 4 [Test piece Indian Summer (Eric Ball)]

Section 4b [short own choice programme]

The 2026 Scottish Championships entry form can be accessed here.

The pre-draw for Sections 2 and 3 on the Saturday and for Sections 4 and 4b on Sunday will take place as soon as practical after the competition entry closing date of 7 February.
